Meternova connects building meters, operator work and billing data into one system. Devices across buildings can use different protocols, but operators need one consistent view of readings, diagnostics, alerts and reports.
We worked on the WPF/.NET application and Modbus, BACnet and M-Bus integrations. The core work was data normalization: collecting readings from different meters, shaping them into one model and making them usable in dashboards, reports and billing.
The result is a tool that automates reading collection and billing, sends notifications about missing or anomalous readings, and reduces the need for manual checks. The same data model also supports reporting needed for ISO certification and audits.
What changed
Meters and gateways used different industrial and building-automation protocols. Operators needed reliable readings, diagnostics and alerts without manual exports and checks. Billing and analytics depended on data being consistent and verifiable.
