Challenge
Meters and gateways used different industrial and building-automation protocols. Operators needed trustworthy readings, diagnostics and alerts without manual exports. Billing and analytics depended on normalized data.
Client
The important change is trust in the readings. Operators can see where the data came from, which protocol delivered it and what needs attention before billing starts.
At a glance
MeterNova automates meter reading, billing and energy analytics for utilities, smart cities and large facilities. We worked on the WPF/.NET application layer and Modbus, BACnet and M-Bus integrations that connect electricity, water, heat and gas meters to usable operational and billing data.
Project insights

MeterNova connects building meters, operator work and billing. Devices across buildings can use different protocols, but operators need one consistent view of readings, diagnostics, alerts, reports and billing data.
We worked on the WPF/.NET application and integrations for Modbus, BACnet and M-Bus. The core work was data normalization: collecting readings from different meter types, shaping them into one model and making the data usable in dashboards, reports and billing workflows.
The result is a tool that reduces manual handoffs between hardware, operators and billing, and makes missing readings or anomalies visible faster.

WPF/.NET operator tooling for meters and data flows. Integrations for Modbus, BACnet and M-Bus. Readings move into the same source used by dashboards, reports and billing. Missing readings and anomalies become visible faster.
