Challenge
- The platform had to support several rental categories, not only vehicles.
- Search, listings, bookings, accounts and payments needed one shared data model.
- Location, deposits and multilingual account flows had to stay simple for users.

At a glance
Rentif is a peer-to-peer rental marketplace for people who want to rent cars, trailers, tools, electronics, sports gear and event equipment nearby. We built the Laravel platform behind the public marketplace: location-aware browsing, listing pages, booking flow, user accounts and the payment logic that lets owners rent items out without managing the process by hand.
Project insights

Rentif is a public rental marketplace where one user can rent out an item and another can use it for a day, a weekend or a project. The platform has to keep search, availability, bookings, accounts, deposits and payments working together.
We built the Laravel application with MySQL as the transactional data store and Redis for fast sessions, caching and background work. Renters can browse categories and locations, view listings and make bookings. Owners can publish listings and manage rental requests.
The result is one marketplace foundation instead of separate listings, forms and manual coordination. Rentif can add new categories while keeping bookings tied to the same data model.
What changed
Laravel and MySQL core for listings, accounts and bookings. Redis supports fast sessions, caching and background work. One public rental marketplace across multiple categories.
